Did anyone watch last night's Wheeler Dealers?

I found it odd. Brewer bought a Chevy Luv pickup truck and proceeded to do some of the mechanical work himself. Ed popped in briefly to change some oil seals, do a bit of welding then left and Brewer finished the work although we didn't get to see much of it.

It felt like I was watching someone's marriage breaking up.

yes I knew that and that he has been replaced by another person (Ant?).

This new (new to me at least) series already seems to have less mechanical work in it so I'm wondering if this was the build up to Ed leaving.

I watch it on Quest so I'm probably a season or two behind.
