Soliciting is against forum rules chaps
Hope you had a good one tony
Thanks Dave20046, I had a great day out, egg n chips at loomies which was packed. A few years back any rideout would be jumped at.... But everyone seems to be busy, and the whole rideout experience on this forum has been lost.... I don't know if everyone just ride by them self nowadays... Shame... We did used to have a great time..

Good to hear! I’ve still never sampled loomies.
I think it’s mostly the instant, force-fed environment of the Facebook world where people don’t check sites like this often enough and then it’s too late , activity is definitely dwindling . I do miss the ride outs , if I wasn’t abroad I would have made the trip

Not completely dead Tony. We had a cracking weekend rideout just recently over here at the Border Patrol. If I get the time, I'm hoping to arrange a mini version before the weather turns this year too.

It always helps if rideouts and other events are posted under the relevant district as are Gary's.
At 270 miles to the start, it was a little bit far, but have often in the past ridden nearly as far to the start of Welsh events ( will do so again some day, Gary ) and much further to GM events. Coming home from a GM was 700 miles, so distance is not always a factor. Knowing what to expect is.

It's something I'd love to do - never having been on one before(!) But, location and notice makes a big difference.
