£10200 for a scooter?

I was reading a review of the new Yamaha Tmax 560 which, I thought, seemed practical for our winters. The reviewer mentioned it was expensive and I guessed at £8k, I was surprised to see it actually costs £10200.


I've never owned a scooter, nor priced them, is this a reasonable price? (I'm not buying one)
