Being born and raised in 'ull, we used to regularly see F-111s and later, A-10 Warthogs flying around.

In fact, I got 'buzzed' by an A-10 once when I was riding to Bridlington on my old Suzi X5, it went overhead at what seemed like about 100 feet, I couldn't hear anything until it had passed over and I got the exhaust stream. Yank tw*t ;)
