View Full Version : Cup-A-Soup mix
at the end of the night i have been getting into having a cup-a-soup with one of those big mugs. i have been mixing two packets of cup-a-soups to make different flavours.. give it a try its fun :-)
my favourite so far is chicken and cream of mushroom with added pepper and a pinch of salt.

I like the asparagus. It definitely has real asparagus in it... proved when going for a wee after it.

Don't you know it's dangerous to cross the streams?

Back in the day ( early 60s ) did much the same at garage machines:
Select chocolate, then as soon as the powder goes in, select chicken soup.
Voila : chicken and chocolate soup - not as bad as it sounds! :D

Not a cup-a-soup, but interesting food combo flavours related... a guy I work with really likes grated cheese and crunchy peanut butter sandwiches.

Cheese (from the days when I ate curdled cows milk) and peanut butter is ace, especially toasted. Improved with the addition of Marmite on there before the peanut butter, and, if you're doing it as a toastie, a mashed banana in the middle. Mmm, tasty!
Works with certain brands of vegan cheese too.

I'm not sure whether to try these or draw a pentagram on the door for fear of the freaks outside!

Yes, always been my Dad's favourite. I think of that combo as normal because we've always had them but when I mention it to people they think it's odd.

While we're on the subject, my favourite sandwich is honey and marmite. You really do need to try it before judging!

Without the user name proving otherwise I would have suggested the person that wrote that was pregnant!
