I live in a depressed (and some say depressing) area, the good news is that being on the road to nowhere means we have been spared much of the awful virus.
The economy is in bad shape? Not here judging by the difficulty in getting a contractor - There's at least a 6 week wait for carpet fitters, joiners and roofers. If you want fencing then that goes to 8 weeks. Motorcycle service department (Japanese bikes)? - swamped (and that includes buying and getting a new bike assembled).
On an unrelated note: "Eat out to help out"? What cunning linguist thought that up?
