I received a text this morning suggesting I download the test and trace app. I have a simple phone that won't run apps so I cannot anyway but I started reading up about the app.
It's brilliant /s
It's called the NHS test and trace app but wasn't developed by the NHS, it was given to a private company to produce. There's a teeny, tiny snag with it. If you were tested at an NHS facility you cannot enter the results! Here's a response from the NHS Covid-19 (the private company) to a tweet asking about entering their results.
"If your test took place in a Public Health England lab or NHS hospital, or as part of national surveillance testing conducted by the Office for National Statistics, test results cannot currently be linked with the app whether they’re positive or negative."
I would have thought that job #1 would have been: make sure you can enter data.
