while cleaning more of the attic out i found some old pics and this was one of them. the one at the front was mine and it had a YPVS kit on it which at the time was very rare. it was also the very first bike i bought brand new.

When I was 17 I bought one as my first bike after passing my test. I wanted a Mito but couldn't afford it so I got a blue TZR. Rode it round and learned a lot on that bike, how to corner, how to throw spanners, and how to dismount at speed. I powervalved mine with the YPVS kit and could top out at an indicated 96mph if memory serves. It used to shake itself apart, indicators and bar ends were considered consumables, but it was a fun ride.

I still have it in boxes and have been collecting parts to restore it for a number of years now...

Wow, I forgot about the TZRs. Someone I used to work with had a blue and yellow one. So much fun to blast about on.

I very stupidly sold this cheply as I couldn't afford to repair the power valves. Wish I had just sat it in the corner until I could.

I've always wanted a tzr since I passed my cbt back in 1995, I still find myself looking only ne for one that needs some work doing to it as a project

I almost has an Eddie Lawson Mito a few years ago but I hesitated buying it and thus missed out on it
