There's an article in this month's Bike Magazine about owning multiple bikes. Whilst it might seem great having a dozen bikes to choose from, keeping them running properly and staying on top of MOT's etc can be a headache.

He's just a hoarder of things, no interest in using them, just buys or acquires things, for the sake of having it

This is why I restrict myself to one bike, I spend enough time with the SV (which never needs anything other than routine maintenance) ... if I had more bikes I'd never be out of the garage ;)

I find 3 bikes on the road at one time is my limit, it definitely gets so I take one out just because it hasn't been run for a while, which isn't the ideal reason to have them. Two would be preferable really.
