You must be justly proud Gary - will show the wife tonight.
Your daughters must be very good now I would imagine. How about a bit of footage from the present?
Pretty good playing too.

They pretty much stopped clogging when 6th form and then uni came around, and we all stopped performing regularly as a family folk band. Eleri and I have started doing a few gigs again and now she's just getting back into clogging as part of our set. Got nothing recent on video atm, but I'll see what we can do over the next few weeks.

Cheating a bit as this isn't a new picture, but one I took three years ago today at llyn Tegid. This was literally a moment in time, I took another pic less than a minute after this one and the mist had pretty much disappeared.

A bit of mist can work wonders in pics so I'm not sure you were happy to catch that one.

Sioned and I took Eleri down to Caerdydd for uni. We stayed overnight so Mabel went to stay with my friends Julian and Alison and their lurcher, Merlin.
A couple of lovely pictures of the hounds taken by Julian.

One from last weekend when I went for a walk up a local hill. I tried to light up the Cairn with my torch as best as I could.

Cheers guys. Been getting quite lucky with the clear skies lately.

If the clouds over the sunset weren't in the way it would have been even better. That's what I'm hoping for

Wee drive up to Glenshee today. I've never been up the chairlift. I'd like to see how good the views are, but it's not working at the moment.

Another option would be the Glencoe chairlift. Bit far to go in the car though. Much rather do that on the bike some time.

The first one is Bear Steps right? I do miss going into Shrewsbury since we lost Father in Law - such a lot of history, despite the council's demolition frenzy in the '70s.

Hah, I didn't realise there was a Grope Lane in Shrewsbury as well. The name was changed to avoid offending innocent ears ....

Popping this here as we don't have a 2023 thread. Photo of Orion over Ticehurst, it's a dark sky site and you can see so many more stars than where I live. Nikon D5200, 35mm f1.8.
