However, there is a bloke nearby who has a Brabus-tuned 2008 Merc S320 diesel, and I wouldn't mind having a go in that. All the bells and whistles together with 500ft-lb of torque would be fun.

Nah - it could have had one of those stupid swingarm mounted rear number plate hangers to make it even more gruesome! (IMHO)
