Old crash helmets

I had an old crash helmet and was trying to avoid throwing it into the rubbish. I contacted the ambulance service and didn't get an answer but the fire department did. My local fire station is happy to take the old helmet to use for training purposes.
Worth a call if you need to dispose of one.

Didn't think of that before I found a couple of rather mouldy old lids of mine in the garage a few months ago. I simply binned them.
