The Crighton CR700W is a rotary engined bike, Guy rides it around Cadwell. It produces an interesting howl.

If you want one, get in quick because they're only making 25. Oh, and they cost £95k.

Sounds just like the JPS / Duckhams Norton rotaries from the late 80s and early 90s (unsurprising, as Brian C developed the racers).

A few years ago I was at a Mallory Post TT and they had a special parade lap of three of the JPS Nortons and a Duckhams one. The noise was fantastic and Steve Spray did most of his laps on the back wheel.

I love this clip (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L73iyZvsyX0) from the 1989 Snetterton Race of Aces, which was one of THE big domestic races at the time. All the big British stars there on the best Japanese factory superbike racing tackle, and Steve Spray & Trevor Nation on the JPS Nortons make the rest of the field look like they've got their brakes stuck on.

I was at that race and got a great pic of one of the Nortons parked up in the paddock afterwards with laurels on the handlebars. Nobody minding it, not behind barriers - great day out and indeed a great soundtrack.

That Crighton also sounds epic!
