I have an HP Probook 450 G8 laptop and its battery is showing signs it's failing (3 or 4 years old, I think). I have bought replacement batteries for my other laptops (Toshiba and Lenovo) and have usually found they are not as good as the ones that were originally installed, often only lasting a year. HP don't seem to sell batteries or, at least, I couldn't find them on their UK website which seemed odd.
Does anyone have recommendations for a UK laptop battery supplier - there are a lot if you google it, but the last one I used ended up being in Hong Kong (although claiming to be UK) and they sent the wrong battery (twice).
I tried buying a Toshiba battery from Duracell thinking it was a "good" name and it lasted 1 week out of its 1 year warranty so I won't be buying from them again (they wouldn't consider a replacement or discount)
