Hi all got mine from ERMAX at one of the motorcycle shows.

Cost me £125 colour matched with the built in indicators (warning need a very small plate to be able to see the indicators clearly, but not much trouble from the plod here so it works fine for me)

Most of the problems with the undertrays is getting the old Suzuki one off, there are 2 small bolts at the back of the bike under the seat unit, they are *******s. Also with most of these undertrays, you have to use the old battery tray from the old undertray, I just cut it off leaving the two fixing bolt holes on and bolted the Roca undertray on top.
It took me about 1 1/2 to do the complete change. 1 1/4 was taken taking off the old tray
You will also need to get a small reflector for the MOT, I got one of these from Halfords £2.99

weegaz's template is on the scottish site www.sv650.tk.

Im getting a new undertray in the next couple of weeks dont know who makes it, dont really care anything will be better than the big lump of plastic that is there at the moment. once fitted I will post a photo of my **** (the bike only as I dont have a wide angled lens just before anyone says anything)

I've got a big wide angle lens?
What you need to do is do a before and after picture of your old **** and your new **** and then we can compare the two

""weegaz's template is on the scottish site www.sv650.tk.""

Just printed it off - seems simple enough (although getting my printer to print it the correct size was a bit tricky there for a moment!) It's is a darn sight cheaper than the undertray alternative...

Cheers Weegaz and Nutty! I'm busy this weekend then... BBQ or Bike?!?!

Make: Ermax (sv650 Sk1)

http://hometown.aol.co.uk/timr1985/images/sv2web.jpg

Easy to fit and great colour matched.

Instead of a smaller plate (like sharpys) decided to make a bracket to lower it by 2 inches to clear the built in indicators.

This was one of the ebay advertised fender eliminater jobbies, took a little figuring out which way the plates went, took about 4 hours in all, only cost £38 ish, makes the rear look a million times better, bonus.

I may get one for the missus

This is the Suzuki/TCP one... Since it's black though, you can't see much detail :)

http://server5.uploadit.org/files/northwind-upskirt2.jpg

It's perfectly colourmatched, fits really nicely and easily, doesn't need a cut, doesn't have stealth indicators, keeps all your luggage space, and cost me £115. Keeps all your original reflector and light, so it's totally road legal and MOT friendly.

It took about 2 hours to fit, but that included taking off the pillion pegs and hugger, refitting the scotoiler, and lots of general cackhandedness.

Bargain :) Though it's not the prettiest of undertrays, since it's quite lumpy to retain the luggage space as it was. Also, the license plate light is the size of a streetlamp, so I've bought another that I'm going to hack up.

Basically, it's the easiest, most practical of the bunch of you ask me, and still looks pretty fine.

I asked the bloke who advertises on banditmanias site about an undertray for a K2.

This is his reply. If I got an enquiry like mine I would make sure I could supply them. Maybe its not worth making a mould! :(

Malc,
Many thanks for your enquiry. Whilst we make a couple of items for the 03 650 -mudguard and number plate bracket we don't as yet do an undertray for your bike...sorry. However you could look at the undertrays made by Ermax or maybe Skidmarx as these might suit your needs. If i can be of further assistance please let me know.

I just did mine- $60 USD - the wires run thru the middle of the mounting bracket bar so you cant see them, but they wanted me to drill thru the plastic & without the rear fender with those 4bolts holding everything together, the flat black plastic piece wasnt strong enough, so I cut the base off the fender & used those 4 bolts to keep everything together, plus now there's no spaces left open for dirt to get under the seat!

Can you take a pic of 'em flashing :?:

Are they not too close together (ie. will they cause cagers to get confused :?:)

the average cager would probably still get confused if you had a massive sign detailing where you were going with a big arrow for those that can't read.
Though I would be worried by them being too close together, personally.
