I doubt if I will be there this week. I want to make sure that I can defo be in Soho on the 21st for Rob's visit, and what with going away the following week, best I keep in with Mrs Jelster.

I'll be along, with a surprise mystery guest

Might not have my bike though. Might have a 'quirky' borrowed one, or none at all. Who can tell? :?

well i'll finish work at 5 or 5:30 depending and get down there early (apex),
Get home at 6, that gives me 45 to make a 17 min journey.
I think even i should be able to blunder my way 17 miles or so from Northwich Park Hospital to Apex Corner in that time ^_^.

actually i got to apex corner on time.....but there seems to be a distinct lack of petrol stations on said round about 0_o....there was a small macdonalds and an industrial park oposite to that but no petrol station :(

There is only 1 apex corner right??

On the bright side a had another nice long ride, found my way there perfectly fine (wherever i ended up) but got lost on the way back, got to a rather large bridge over a massive body or water, didn't think we had any big rivers like that in the UK, at the other end was a toll both, 12 of them in fact (didn't think we had any of those either), asked where it went iwas told france.....ok, turn aroundddddddd (they carged me the toll just to turn around the gits :( ),
Finally found the M25 and the M1 from there and got home but boy was my seat organ sore :?

Doh!!!!! wrong roundabout Physco. The roundabout that you should have been at the roundabout were the A41 meets the A1.

Two garages one either side of the roundabout. We waited there till 10 past seven.

Nevermind m8, always the next time. Assuming that I have my bike back on the road, I will meet you at Stanmore tube station and we can get to the meeting point from there.

Wont be this Friday though   Not unless you wanna gimme a lift

PsychoCannon
17-05-04, 10:02 AM
i'd be moore than happy to give you a lift if you want one ^_^.

I've just looked up the route i took....i'm going to print it out as a reminder of how bad my sense of direction is.

Apparently that toll both was Dartford towards Dover.....not sure how the hell i ended up there......

Its called the river Thames, I hope they didn't let you turn round and go back over the bridge as its 4 lanes but ONE WAY only. Also it's free for bikes so get yer money back.

Youll get there one day. :) good luck

?? you sure?
they had pictured of cars vans and bikes up and there was definantly a charge next to the bikes but it was the cheapest of the 3.

The bridge was one way that was right, i had to go back under this kind of tunnel under the river after they escorted me through some kind of security access ramp.

rictus01
17-05-04, 05:35 PM
Yep. last week I used it three times.

And was part of the organized protest when they had 500 odd bikes with £20 notes asking for change.that helped make it free.

lol tbh i dunno, all i know for sure is i got a sore bottom but took in some lovely country scenery.

Also had a few bikers pull up on the hard shoulder when i stopped to try to phone a mate to ask where the hell the A something or other took me, very nice of them to try help ^_^, bikers definantly seem to be more sociable than cage drivers ^_^
