How would you rate the lid?
comfort, wind noise and build?
It looks like quite a nice lid. :D
Regards
Fraser
8/10 Not as quiet as my shoei lid build quality of course lower due to being a budget helmet but still better than most and comfort is great, had it on for 3 - 4 hours and still felt ok

There are some of these lids for sale on e-Bay for £69.99 at the moment
Would be very cautious about buying without trying, they are a funny shape like the roof and don't fit some heads well... 8)
Wessons of Horam are selling them for 85 quid at the moment.I like the look of them and may have to try one.
Well now i've had an accident and seen how the helmet protected my head i'd definatly buy another. In fact I will be when i get bike back on the road.
Hi Ian,
Thinking about buying a Brutus, but am wondering how your lid faired in terms of misting, changing the visor, ventilation for those long summer blasts...(not that we get much sun up here!)
Any bad points at all?
Cheers.
It did mist a little but no worse than any helmet I've had before, ventilation is adequate....
gotta remember its a budget helmet, but its one of the better ones as far as I'm concerned
Cheers mate, I'm going to try and get in to town this afternoon and try one on!
I've been using one of these for about 18 months or so now and I find that its quite noisy altho very cumfy. BUT - the chin guard is VERY close to my chin (which is not a brucey one) and would hate to think that it'll collide with it in an off!!!
Otherwise its okay.
