Hi all,

I could definitely do with getting myself a new screen for the bike. I like the look of the F.Fabrini (spelling?) screens, but I'm not sure where to order one from. I also don't know what the alternatives are, so I thought I'd ask you guys :)

Ideally I'd like a dark tint, double bubble, and my bike is early shape, so any pointers would be great!

Don't get one of these, I have had 3 now and none of the drilled holes line up.

I have a yellow double bubble from PowerBronze on my 01. No problem fitting, seems to work well. Would get another one.

I just fitted a Powerbronze Titanium Iridium today. Seems nearest they do to silver. Its not really silver (same a my 'silver' shoei visor  ) but its nice. However, I had to cut down the screw points on the upper fairing mount points. Did anyone else do that? If I didnt it just didnt come together.

Well I'll need a new screen due to accident, seems powerbronze is the way to go, the old one was a powerbronze i didn't buy, any other recommendations?

i love the look of the rainbow or cool blue iridium.. but £95 can't justify it atm

It's no good Rich, you won't get any faster until you get a silver bike.. and another 351cc

The screen above looks really good but which brand of double bubble offers the best wind protection at speed. On the runway at 100 plus I find the oem screen makes it really buffetty on my helmet.

Fitted my F.Fabbri last night, really pleased with how it looks :) Haven't gone out for a ride yet so I can't comment on the wind protection, though.

Fitting wasn't too much of a problem. Had to stretch my brain a bit to get the rubber front mountings back through the middle fairing but I sorted it in the end :)

the site i went on said the screen was for an sv1000s, would that fit a 650s? i hope so.

also, which other years would fit on to a k4? just the k3?

Eyup Skiddy,

where did you get your F Fabri screen for a proper SV?

My Demon Tweeks catalogue doesnt list one. only has K3 / 4 listed

Is it me? :P

I got mine from http://www.sportsbikeshop.co.uk/ and they list 99-02 and 03-04 years for the SV.
Got good service from them as well as a good price.

I got mine from http://www.speedycom.co.uk. Would have been very quick service if I hadn't screwed up the mailing address  They sorted it out quickly as soon as I realised what I'd done though, so highly recommended.

Have now been for a good ride with the screen on and I'm well impressed, wind noise and wind blast are now the same at 90 as it is at 50 or 60, must be firing all the wind completely over the top of my head(but I'm only ikkle). Plus is looks fantastic, especially on the yellow bike :D
