Bought them a year ago for £119, I have found them to be comfortable from the word go and have worn them for over 16 hours in a day with no discomfort.
Nothing has worn nor have they ever leaked.

Great value.

I've got these boots too... Not as sporty looking as most others, but do a great job & they're comfortable too :!:

Good bit of kit - I got mine for £69.00 :D

paid £119 for these and they are possibly the best money I spent on my kit! So damn comfortable, you forget you are wearing them!

I've been looking at getting some of these for a couple of weeks now and this is the cheapest I've found them online.

They get a  from me too. More comfortable than most of my shoes. Never let a drop in either.

I've been thinking about getting these boots for a while, and you guys have just persuaded me to buy them. Thanks for the cheap website (Harpers) - I phoned them as I was thinking about going into the shop to save on postage as i don't live far away, but the price is an internet only price - they are selling for 135 in store.
Total came to 114.95 including postage and VAT, could do worse I reckon.......

Snap. After reading all the positive posts on here i went to a shop yesterday to try them on for size, (shop was selling them for £135) then ordered them from Harpers. Hopefully will be here by weekend.

Cool, Harpers seem pretty good. I only ordered them an hour ago online and have had an email from the manager saying they have already been dispatched and should receive them tomorrow. Guess it depends if they have your size in stock.....

Not counting my chickens though - have been disappointed with delayed delivery so many times before when ordering over the internet!

UPDATE:

Well after 3 weeks in these boots and a 25 mile trip in the rain and hail from Hudderfield i can confirm these boots are ace. Very comfy, fully waterproof and feel like they will offer a good level of protection.

I have the ladies version and can highly recommend them! :D (as long as you don't have deformed toes like me, in which case you will never find a pair of extremely comfy bike boots, despite searching for a year!!).

Hmmm - You know when I post seems like a good idea at the time, but reading back you realise how decidedly dodgy it sounds.... :?

Been wearing my new black rains for a week or so now. I love them except they can be a little slippery on the soles in wet conditions.

BTW I'm a size 8 in shoes, are they a good fit
i.e. size 8 in shoes = size 8 in Sidi's.
Or do i need to allow for thick socks etc??

sorry for the daft question, but i am new to this game ...........d'oh.

I've found them to be a perfect fit... and I'm a size five and a half!

This is what I love about Sidi - they do half sizes. OK, so they had to be ordered in, but still only took a week to arrive.

i'm size 8 with size 8 Sidis - for me they fit just fine, with any kind of socks, pretty much. I bought them on impulse from a shop just cos they fitted so darn well and were more comfortable to wear than any new pair of shoes i've ever worn.

Why dont you take a bit of sandpaper to the bottom soles and get all the shine off.

I have these and when they were new, they did not grip the ground properly when i had stoped and sometimes my foot nearly slided away.

I was wearing Black Rains when I had my crash and they did fare pretty well...

I broke one ankle and one toe! I'm pretty certain that neither of these injuries would have been sustained if I was wearing my Vertebra2s due to the extra ankle/heel protection and the toe protection that the Black Rains don't have (something pierceed through the front of one & broke my toe! :? ).

HOWEVER!

I could say that I would have fared better all over if I was wearing my summer (Swift 1-piece) leathers rather than my winter gear... The fact is that I wouldn't have been able to ride in my summer kit with the weather conditions as they were!
I do feel that the boots did a good job and I think that if I was wearing something of a lesser quality, I wouldn't have been so lucky!

**Great boots for winter although more protection is offered by summer boots**

£100 for a pair is a pretty good price... That seems to be the 'special offer' price several are quoting. I bought mine from the NEC for (I think)£100, only to be told by a mate that he had seen them there for £85! Oh well!!
