This is going to sound like an ad, but I'm not on commission .

Went into my nearest Halfords this weekend and they were selling the Oxford HD Chainlock 1.5m chain & disclock combo for £14.99

Now before any of you rush out, it isn't the last word in security. It's in the Oxford Bronze range, NOT sold secure and NOT Thatcham approved - but as a spare chain and disclock you can't argue with the price.

I have an ABUS extreme lock I use with the bike, but it's only long enough to secure a wheel to anything. The 1.5m Oxford chain gives me the option to secure the frame to my ground anchor as well.

What do you thinks? :?:

ones I got frombmf were padlocks..these have the shackle lock that doubles as a disc lock.
