I've given up on the idea of trying to get a Poly26 after all the hassle that the good Doctor (and others) have had, so I've just ordered a JMV one. It's unpainted, but I should be able to find someone local to do it.

Nice, but maybe not quite as good looking as the Poly26. Trouble is, they have to order it from France and everything there shuts down for August, so I'm not likely to get it until mid-September.

Just thought id let all you guys know as i was one of the ones that was originally interested in the poly26 pan aswell. i got my bellypan a few months ago also through the finish supplier. He is excellent by the way.

I ordered the silver one from him so he painted it aswell, and i have to say the service was great in my experience very quick. The colour match was also spot on.

The only few negative comments about the bellypan are this, the finish on the outside could be better, this is actually caused by the making process of using fibreglass though, the finish on the inside is also a bit raw we shall say, you can see the fibres etc. And one more thing you may find that the ground clearence may could be an isuue, i have found that conering quik with a pillion causes the pan to touch down occasionally.

Any way thats me done, time to go to the lord derby.

Hard to tell mate just from a photo, I think it probably is genuine because I don't think Gerard Makes his own fibreglass parts he just paints them I think.

It doesn't bother me any way I still think its by far the best looking bellypan around, it just ties in with the rest of my bike so wel :D Just can't wait to get my Akrapovic system now

What do you think of the bellypan DrRich?

Just to let all you guys know, if any of you live in the hampshire area and don't go down the lord derby, you really should it was excellent last night.

I ordered mine at the same time as Dr Rich's, but mine was of a much higher quality that Rich's & amarko5's...

Mine is now fitted & I'm very pleased with it

Another big bonus for me was the fact that mine was actually the right colour for the bike too  (Rich & amarko5's pans arrived & they were purple... )

The colour on mine is a decent match.
My main gripe is that it was packed in a plastic bag, then wrapped in cardboard, nothing else no packing at all. So in the 26 days it took to get to me it was well and truly battered...
It is chipped and cracked on every extremity so i am not very happy...
I am trying to contact Gerard at the mo i will keep you all informed.
