I agreee, wheres the poll...

People are more likely to click on yes on a poll, than to come out and post a message saying, "yes I am driving illegaly, please come and arrest me, You'll find where I live if u click on the location link to the side!" :P

I'm still on a standard can, but that's only because I'm still looking for my dream can

Personally I have stuck with the standard can because I don't want my insurance to go up. Secondary issues are the noise regs and the fact that it might devalue my bike on the used market.

I informed the insurance when I added the lower fairing kit and seat cowl to the SV because I won't ride without full legit insurance.

Insurance company didnt charge me an extra penny to fit my can or seat cowl onto my Kwak... take baffle out, and it becomes a race can

Told them about it - as long as it's BS marked it makes no difference on my policy - but then I went and took the baffle out and I keep forgetting to put it back.

I tell mine everything, because I've seen what can happen if you don't :)

I did enquire with mine about exhausts as I was thinking about it when I had the SV. This was when I called about the fairings and cowl.

The bloke on the phone tapped away and eventually said he didn't know if it would make any difference and said he would call me back after investigating. He eventually called me back and said he still didn't know but to call him once I had decided and bought an exhaust and then he could do a quote.

WTF?!

When I had mine I was with Bennets and they didnt mind as lomg as there wasnt 10% performance gain. 6 on 60bhp, as if.

You want to stick race cans on your BMW Rich... sod performance increase.. just deafen half of the south west instead...

ohh, as an experiment, I am tempted to ride my bike around with no Zorst for a short journey

Still no poll.

I'm still on the standard can, but I am looking to change it. Not really looking for something rediculously loud, but fruitier than the standard one. Slightly louder means more chance of cagers noticing when filtering too. But alas, other things have a higher priority (for both the SV and my bank balance)

Told them about mine. No performance increase = no rise in premiums. Was not listed on my insurance schedule, so made them write to me to confirm they had it listed. Don't want any of that wriggling out of a claim cos I didn't tell them something.
