Pyramid plastic seat cowl problem

I have had my seat cowl for about 6 months and have noticed that the paint has faded and has started bubble. This also happened with a friends cowl (but after a longer time).

Has anyone had a similar problem?

I've had one fitted to my bike (SV650S 02 yellow) for about 6 months and mines fine. I bought it frrom the factory colour matched. When ever I've had a problem with anything I just go and see them. They are dead helpful.
