Update - please post a reply too so he knows who you are! Unless you can retrieve that info JonBoy?
If you've been following the 'Stainless Bolts & Tank Raisers' topic, you'll know that chewy22 comes recommended for these, seems reasonably priced (about £32 for full kit) and will even include instructions!
We need to get the numbers up for an order so if you're interested, use this poll to note your model and year....
If you want others added, let me know.
Here goes... :D
I'm interested in the SVS K2 full kit.
Have submitted vote accordingly.
Cheers
Desh
Yes count me in but don't all the models above have the same bolts?

I think I'd need a K1 set, even though i've got a W, since I've changed the forks and all.
Still, as far as I'm aware the only difference is the extra fork bolt on the pre-K1s. So if that's right, then we really only need one kit, and the newer owners get a spare bolt...
Be aware that stainless steel is very low in tensile strength, Similar to mild steel so don't overtighten them

Presumably torque settings remain the same so we should be fine, no?

sorry this is taking a little more time than expected its just finding time from other owners to donate there bikes to mesure the bolts. Now been promised one tomorrow night a K2 sv650s so should have some results buy the weekend. I also see the vote thing has gone to pot with all the missing posts are you all still interested as winter is just around the corner which give us all time to work on our bike when we cant ride them.
yup - I'm still interested, please let me know as soon as the complete kit is ready.

Aye, definately. It's be worth popping your head up on SVRider as well, I mentioned that you were trying to find numbers on there and there was some interest.
And what do you mean, "when we can't ride out bikes?" Mine'll get a one-week break in december while I do the cams and respray, other than that it'll be getting ridden all winter except when there's snow on the ground...

From what i can see the X, K1, and K2 seem the same as the one i have tonight to work on is i think a K2 Naked with one pinch bolt in the right hand fork could someone tell me what length the others are with 2 pinch bolts.
Also were the faring locates on the head stock on the S model it should have (2) bolts in there the N only has one anybody else tell me the size of these two please. If anybody can spot any othe odds please let me know i will have this bike for about two days to cover as many as i think need to be done Quick tally tonight up to about 55 bolts to be replaced inc engine maybe more or maybe less.Any help feel free to post to me or PM.
