How much was the bike without all the extras? I'm looking for a K4 in black myself. And where from?

Great Site, been watching the site for a while now.
Mk,
I put down a deposit on a SV650S K4 (in blue) on Saturday. The bike cost £4100 from Powersports in Bradford.
I understand York Suzuki are also selling K4's around the £4K mark.
You might be best trying Cupar's they seem to offer good prices on bikes and there a bit closer to home.
welcome all seeing
i had that funny feeling i was being watched . . . now i know why

I paid £4,151 from Mickey Oates in Glasgow for same package on a SV650S. That was slightly cheaper than Alvins or Cupar. I work 15 minutes walk away from Mickey Oates's so it suited me better than having to trek from my home on one side of Edinburgh to Alvins in Seafield.
Cupar have a very attractive deal for the GSXR600 at the moment £5,495. I am sorely tempted. As a second bike of course!

I sold it for a faster colour....had unexpected bills and had to use some of the bike money to pay them..hence why i missed the most important part of the year

Well, I picked the bike up this morning, it was outside waiting for me, one of the staff was fixing the tax to the brake cable bracket when i arrived, walked into the shop, offed tea, everything was explained to me, shown around the bike (showed the guy where the tool kit is now kept) and signed the PDI...5 miles on the clock proved it had been out for a ride.
 to Rob Willsher motorcycles, exellent service.
Well only did 70 miles today, just pottering around, did some motorway miles to see if there was any vibrations in the pegs or bars...found the throttle alittle jerky (can't remember it being like that on my K3) but i suppose once i run it in it will improve with time. Apart from stalling it at the first junction (on an incline) I soon got my footing and my confidence in the bike again, I was off and stayed out most of the day practicing my slow speed manouvering and general handling.
**It is SOOOOO good to be back on a proper bike, I didn't realise how much i had missed it, it was that good that I only realised that i was starving when i was pushing the bike into the garage.**
so all in all a good first day...more tomorrow.
:D
Congratulations Fraser, :)

Bloody weather, I only managed 70 miles yesterday, thought i'd take it easy and go out for a bit of a longer ride today... :(
I have decided to leave it tucked up in the garage, I haven't finished scrubbing the tyres in yet....
Oh well, I have been collared to do some decorating :(

enjoy your bike, had mine a few weeks and am well impressed, my first big bike and first v-twin. took a little while to get used to the engine braking, not seen a black one with fairing lowers yet though?
Mark
I missed out on a Red '01 bike by 10 secs (how annoying is that), so settled for the black '00. Now i've had i t a while I think the Black is a far better colour :) And the 500euro saving was quite nice as well...
Love the lower fairing - waiting for some spare cash to come my way (look there goes a pig, right outside my 3rd floor window!) :(
