I am interested in modifying my 2002 SV650S. Inexpensive is better, obviously, but I don't want to cr@p it up.

 I want to change my sprocket gearing. My main goal is not to make easy wheelies, however; I just want more oomph off the line, without losing 20mph off the top end. Does anyone have a sprocket combo which they find suitable for all-round bashing?

:D I also want to put on an exhaust. Are there any recommendations? I think that there may be some different restrictions in Britain; I'm in the US and as such I think I have some more freedom.

:?: My 2002 is a K?

:?: My model bike is carburated. How would I increase air/fuel richness? Would that provide any increase in power if done on it's own?

8) On the aesthetic side, I would like to replace the mirrors with something a little sleeker. I really hate the OEM mirrors. Anyone know any companies which provide aftermarket mirrors?

I appreciate any input.

Try + 1 or +2 on the back it will give you the same gearing as the naked one which pulls away quicker. Also your bike probable does not pull right to the redline in top gear anyway the lower gearing may even produce a higher speed if it pulls further. The only way to tell is by experimenting as engines are slightly different ie a good x7 did 103mph a poor one did 85mph. An aftermarket exhaust usually gives more power but some not as much as others.
