M25 unmarked police cars

Forgot about this till now, but yesterday morning, I saw an unmarked Saab saloon, a 9-5 I think, in what appeared to be light blue, on the M25 at Leatherhead. They had someone on the hard shoulder and I saw the 'police' sign in the rear window.

The 9-5 Aero, in particular the manual, is a pretty rapid car, for a large saloon.

Anyone know of any other plain brown wrappers out there?

I'm not sure about the colour - there's no light blue available on Saabs at the moment and I can't one being resprayed. It must have been some other light colour. It was early and pretty miserable out there.

I was somewhere in south london, on the A23... I forget where exactly, but somewhere between Purley and Brixton I think... and saw a dark blue old shape Honda something with blue lights behind the grille!

it was a minty green/ grey car - saw it busting someone on the A3 about a week ago - also followed it onto the M25 southbound (towards leatherhead) last weekend

Also seen light-blue mettalic volvo S60 and dark coloured(saw it at night) volvo v70 on the M20/M2 and A2. Always very wary of volvos anyway!

Humberside and Yorkshire police forces run a lot of unmarked cars, They had two Subaru Impreza's with all the bells and whistles! and a siren and some natty flashing lights in the grille :?

There is a Mitsubishi EVo running on the A1 too. I saw it near Newark last weekend.

I have been pulled by the dark blue volvo v70 on the A2 last year.Git! I have also seen (much to my surprise) a white skoda octavia rsvi estate in dartford which pulled someone. :shock:

Hmmmm, I work am working for the Met Police at the moment. I park in the yard of each station that I visit.

How much trouble would I get in for listing all the unmarked cars that I find in the yards :?: :?: :roll:

Hampshire are in the process of changes their traffic cars, gone are the volvos, in are the mondeo st24's and the skoda octavia RS's......so no doubt thats what the unmarked will be. :wink:
