View Full Version : Huge Relief

Just had the coppers round to talk to me about the accident.

The report indicates that no one driver is to blame, and that the accident was not head on. This led onto the copper telling me that I will NOT be prosecuted! 8)

This will have the effect that I wont have to fight (as much) to get compensation.

This has come as a huge relief and has proven to myself that what i thought happened upto the accident actually did happen, and I wasn't twisting things to make it easier to cope with. :D :D :D :D :D

The copper was vrey good in the fact he hsa also said that he will try to get me a copy of the police report and a few photos of the bike, so I can finally send her off

WOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I will definately try mate - no question about that. Who wants to have a machine stapped to their knee, with one of these reflex hammer thingies attached so that they can constantly kick the insurance companies up the **** for me?

Glad that's finalised, I'm sure it's a big relief.

Thank f'k for that. I am so happy that you have not been put to blame for this. After your last report it did not look good for you at all. I guess it WAS the third party trying to get in there whilst you were down and out then?

Yep, his statement to his solicitors is that it was all my fault etc etc. He fails to mention that the police arrested him and interviewed him under cautioN!!!
It also states that the solicitors will not be asking for a police report as it was solely my fault.

I wont tell you what my solicitors said to that

This is great news - must be a huge weight off your mind and one less thing to have to cope with. Chuffed for ya :D

Sorry, dude, but this has to be said:

"Told you that the Police investigating your accident might work in your favour" :P

The copper was vrey good in the fact he hsa also said that he will try to get me a copy of the police report and a few photos of the bike, so I can finally send her off

It's been my experience that most traffic-coppers are human, contrary to popular misconception

If you are able, would you post the pics of the bike for us?

Oh - that is one expensive-looking leg

Still wont say, apart from it was a genuine accident, with both drivers at fault.

As for visor - there is confusion as to why it was confiscated in the first place

Should hopefully get it back tho

This is good news, you deserve it after the trials and tribulations of the past few weeks as I am sure you have been an inspiration for all in the way that you have stayed positive thoughout.

I know that money cannot possibly compensate for the loss of your leg and the subsequent problems you have and will have throught the rest of your life. but I hope all does work out well with any claims and sorry for this awful pun but you appear to out footed them on this

Excellent news Sincs.

Glad you're clear of the BS that the other driver was clearly going to dish out.

Let us all know how it progresses.
