Proposed Xmas Bash

1 Meet up for a few beers
2 Meet up for a few beers and a meal
3 Meet up for a lot of beers and a meal plus accom
4 Ten- pin bowling with a snack type meal
I have just been to The Grange [Chef&Brewer] who have a £20:00 menu
with a Xmas Theme. They can take bookings for the 4/11/18thDec

This is located at the Chelmsford Services turn-off on the A12 and has a
Premier Lodge sharing the same car park[Rooms/single /double /twin/or
family are all £50:00]

Is it for SV,ers only or with partners

Any other suggestions??????? answers pleeeeese

No set date yet but it will be end of november/early december most likely on a friday or saturday to avoid work hangovers :lol:

As we seem to have a few showing interest how about setting the date

SATURDAY 4th DECEMBER

Can everbody interested so far live with that date???????????? or would
you prefer a bit later
Also propose 6:30 for 7:00ish if we have the meal which would allow a couple of hours for any serious drinking

The one thing I haven,t mentioned so far is the deposit I am prepared to pay this up front but anybody who says the are going must honour their payment otherwise I will be left with the bill for the number of people booked

When I spoke with the chef he did say that if you pre-select from the menu he can ensure that the courses would be served together,so, if you want to go please select your meal from the menu and P.M.it to me

Sorry if I,m being a bit churlish but I would like to arrange it properly

As there has been very little feed back over having a proper sit down
meal at Christmas[only two] hows about we just arrange to meet at the same location,on the same date and people who want to eat order from
the general menu and them that only want to drink do so by the bucket load

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU WILL BE THERE and we can try to
get one big table if nothing else
