I think I missed the other threads. Is anybody from my neck of the woods going in a car, on the 11th? With a spare seat for me? Please?
Since I missed the end of year rideout, I would like to try and meet a bunch of people.

Hopefully somebody will be able to offer me a lift, otherwise I'm biking it.
Which isn't an issue in itself, but even with a topbox, carrying full winter gear and an exhaust system could get interesting, at best.

Not long got back from the NEC. Here's my observations:

1) That blonde on the Harley Davidson stand is absolutely gorgeous :love: :kiss:

2) The "new" seat on the Z750S (faired) which is claimed to be more comfortable, is appauling! The old seat is excellent. Another step backwards.

3) I am soooo impressed with Buells. The riding position is superb, very low seat hieght, high-&-wide bars close to you, very light, very small - therefore very unintimidating to a relative novice like myself (don't know if the 1200cc V-twin is unintimidating though!) :winner:

4) :laughat: Lots of people at the Harley stand as expected.

Ok, I finally got my week sorted out.
I'm going to the NEC Saturday morning.
Is anybody meeting up or will I be all alone? Might I suggest the Suzuki stand at 12pm?

I'll be there, on the Honda stand from 10am by the amazingly gorgeous (well it is a Blade after all) black CBR 1000 RR . :lol: :lol:
