I was commuting with a guy on one of these last night. Supermoto's aren't normally my thing, but it looked and sounded sweet. Have to have a look on the Yamaha stand tomorrow at the NEC....

You get the same motor in the MZ Mastiff and Baghera, dodgy finish but fa, far cooler...

One of the few bikes that i liked at the NEC yesterday. Hmmm, you never know. The other was the Blue Goldwing Trike, oh yes :D

Someone on one of the US forums asked 'Why ride a supermoto?'...the answer was 'Because it takes 20 years off your age'. I think I understand :D

Wing trike? Old hat... Honda have started doing a 4-wheeled wing, they call it a Civic.

Very nice. I like the idea of taking 20 years off my age as well. I still hanker after an original XT500.

Dammit, you beat me to that joke, maybe that's why supermotos don't seem to appeal to me as much as alot of the more mature ;cough;older;cough; people on the forum.

Having looked at these yesterday, I was quite impressed... I noticed that Suzuki are doing a DRZ 450 Supermoto too (available Spring 2005)

But I do think my next bike will be a toss up between a 749 Dark or a KTM LC8 950 Supermoto (with a gel-seat ) I was really impressed with this yesterday

Actually i desperatly want a supermoto, have done for a while now, however, they are expensive to buy for what you get, the drz supermoto aint far off an sv thou price!!

And at the moment, every thing seems more expensive than the sv to insure!

Barmy!
