Hi Everyone. Newbie requires help on parking in London

Not sure i have posted in the right place so forgive me if i have. There are so many options!

I have been on this site before and always found information posted very informative. I am looking for a garage space in central london and was wondering what experience other people have had. Do some of you rent a private/council owned garage/lock-up or do most just leave their machines on the street? I have looked on the web but not found a great deal. The stuff i have found is almost exclusively for cars.

Is this for when your at work or are you talking about a permanent homefor your bike.

Also what part of London, it's a big place.

I know a few places aroung the West end good for street parking but all depends where abouts and what time of day etc. Garaged parking would be horribly expensive anywhere near where I work.

Might be worth sticking this in the Soho Massive section as they are mostly London based.

It's not on your doorstep exactly, but any corporation of london carpark has free bike parking and they are CCTV covered and have security guards. Check corp of london website for locations (City only, I think)
