First run of the year I will be going from either Derby or Burton.
THE 8TH BRASS MONKEY RUN, ‘The First one of the year’ Bikers travel to The Victoria Bikers Pub, organised runs from Nottingham, Leicester, rugby, Derby, Burton on Trent, and the West Midlands and anywhere else that wants to join in, run co- ordinaters needed from each location to lead the way to The Vic and advise riders, entertainment, free soup and a roll paid for by the motorcycle trade plus a guided tour around the Charnwood Forest, runs start at approx 12 noon at each location to reach The Vic by 1pm,( times vary subject to distance) camping.. info 01509 508423 e-mail:- emblempromotions@aol.com

Will post details of the meet up points when I get them Derbys is usally the Macdonalds near Markeaton Park and I suspect that Burtons maybe the beech pub.

So I suppose a pub carpark somewhere on the A38 would be as good as anywhere to meet up.
Bruvs got a black SV, I've got a blue Sprint ST.
The meeting place in Derby is the Macdonalds at Markeaton island which is on the A38 as you go through Derby.

At the risk of repeating myself, I've posted on the other B.M thread. We are meeting at Bassetts Pole at 11. Leaving probably 11.30 /11.45. Should be about 10 of us. Beware that not all the meeting points mentioned in the mag or on the Queen Vic site are active. We live in Rugby and nobody has gone from the Nightingales meet point.

Well apart from frozen nipples it was a good day out, I saw Moobie and a couple of the unwanted folks. Bartie was there but he gibbed on the ride out, Sorry Gary, I just shot off with the crowd :P
Met Petevtwin and wife, I think. Reindeer ears, the bike , not the wife :D
And Bartie missed out on meeting Heather? I think that was her name. :?:

lol yeah i saw santa drive in and leave like about 5 minutes later
went to get a drink and there he went :D
but seeing as it wasnt the warmest day lucky i went at all really :D
