Bike bay question

I parked today in (for those that know the City) the solo bike bay in Pudding Lane.

The marking on the bay was 'MPD 1 Solo Motorcycles Only'.

Anyone know what the MPD1 means?

Around here you can only park between cars and watch them reverse back to pull out, straight into your bike. so park on pavement

Try using the motorbike bay under my office window. Park your bike there at 8am, they put the no parking signs up at 9am, they install portaloos and move the bikes on to the pavement at 10am and by 10.01am all the bikes have tickets (and one of them has £500 of damage) - class act Westminster! :shock: :evil:

Better off to park in the Corporation Car Park (Basement Level) on Upper Thames St, patrolled by attendants and more particularly City Police, undercover and only accessable by bikes.
