I need new boots as well but my old ones have become so comfortable I,m loath to part with them Why oh why do boots and jeans wear out just as they,ve got 110% comfortable
I find every time I get new boots they grip across the top of my forehoof for ages and seem to take forever to soften up

Waiting to see what Sandy Claws brings

I got a pair of sidi vertigo boots at the NEC for £130 - haven't had a chance to ride with them yet, however they do feel really comfortable.

vertiGO or vertiBRA

I've had Sidi vertibra's and A* SMX's which I have now. I think I prefered the Sidi's TBH!

+1 on the Vertibra. I was hit on the track by a fellow racer and went down @ ~90mph. I slid so long I got burns through my suit and boots but the Sidi Vertibra's held up. I patched the hole and replaced the plastic pieces (which are replace-able) and I still use them.
They're very comfy too (Itailian leather).

I've got the Sidi Blackrain Evo's as well and find they are comfortable and have protected me well too in both my offs, have had no injuries to my feet yet even though my right foot took a good scrape in a bus lane on the second one. Not sure they would last ages though as there are a few scuffs were the Lorica has worn down quite bad, but this is after two offs.

You can get them for £99.99 from this place at the moment, though not many sizes left: http://www.gear4bikers.co.uk/sidiboots.html (see "Boots" then "Sidi")

It may be related to getting my toes a bit close to the tarmac, but I found that blackrains wore out a bit quick, just a warning to those who rely on them to keep warm.

I had a pair of Sidi Black Rain and although extremely comfortable I may have well as been wearing a Camebert on my feet for all the use they were when I took my trip down the A30 sans motorcycle. The the toes went through as did the side of the boot, just at that point were yer big toe joints yer hairy foot!!!

I've got a pair of Daytona Road Star GTX for my winter boots, they are a bit dear, ~£200ish, but they're the best I've used, very warm and all day waterproof.
Gaerne Strada summer boots, now very very worn and need replacement.
