So who's up for a ride on Sunday ??
The headaches should have gone and the weather looks like it "should" be OK. This is your chance to get in some winter riding. The pace will be moderate (not brisk) due to the weather, so some of the newer users may want to join in.

Due to an exceedingly bald rear tyre, I don't think that I will be able to make the whole trip, I can't see any reason however why I can't meet you lot for a cuppa at the Little Chef  :)
Having looked at the whole route, I could join you at the Little Chef and accompany you round till we hit Newbury, I'll peel off at this point and go home :D :)

Unless it's lashing it down I'll be there....
Alright guys,
Just a quick post to say what a ride. I rode just under 300 miles today. The last 20 miles were pure agony for me as I could no longer feel my feet, or see the Police Van which I overtook doing 90mph! Doh! Think I got away with it
Thanks Steve for organising it all.
Richard - good seeing you again mate.
Nice to meet you Simon & Stephen.
Dave - I owe you a hot chocolate, plus greasy spoon breakfast, plus thanks for your txt this morning.
Well, that was just what the Dr ordered! I think that was probably my last ride out on my SV. Got some very good memories of today. Bring on the Tuono!
Right, here's a few pictures I took.
Once again I dwarf everything else, including the Cafe, well, almost.

Steve didn't want to show off his goatie!

Hope you all got back safely.
All the best,

Top ride, thanks for sorting it Steve. Really enjoyed myself and will deffo be at the next one. It was such a change to the short distance London stuff I do! Would be good to see any pics of the day - us looking colder as it goes on?....

That SV in the BMW colours looks quite sensible,
Maybe it was the alcohol consumed over the festive period :P

Lovely roads, lovely weather, great company, what more can you say ? Just needed to get out for a decent ride.
Isn't it such a great feeling to just ride for the sake of it ? :riding:
Well how much fun was that !
Great day, great company and some great riding,
Good to see Damien (5 days and counting  ) and also Dave, the Toadster, and new boy Steve, well impressed with your riding considering it's only been six weeks since you passed your test, and of course my comrade in arms The Jelster . When the weather obliges winter riding can top fun, and a great way to keep your skills up to scratch, ready for the new season.
Anyway here are some pics :

A great day, 280 miles on some good roads, bit chilly towards the end (heated grips, la-la-la :D )
Good to meet some new faces as well
The last section back through Wantage is a great road - shame it got dark so early
Best memory is riding through Stow-On-The-Wold looking for somewhere to park, and all the pedestrians scowling at us because of the noise - 8 exhaust pipes and not one baffle in sight

obsessed by size alone . . .
Okay I've changed it. Don't think Pete realised as some forums automatically resize the image.
