Anyone know anyone that does gold nitrate coating?

Elementary chemistry..................all nitrates are water soluble. Therefore not the best for fork coatings

I think you mean "nitride"

Sorry - the answer to your question is "no", I don't.

Try a Google search for it?

Results are still crap. According to http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/3205959.stm this was only developed two years ago  :?:

I know somebody who has had it done to the RWU forks on his slingshot. I'll see if I can find him and ask.

The best people to ask would be Maxton or K-tech. If anybody knows it's the suspension gurus(sp?).

This is because motorcycle forks aren't coated with gold nitride. OK - they're gold coloured, but that actual stuff is titanium nitride.

Happy hunting :D

I was going to, then I noticed how little actual stanchion is visible on RWU forks...

JHS'll sell you TiN stanchions for £220, more expensive but it means you're not of the road at all- you could do your swap in an afternoon instead of having to have the bike in bits for days.
