Anyone use tear-offs?

I was looking a getting a new visor, and one with posts for tear-offs os only £2 dearer.

I seem to remember trying a lid with the posts on before and not liking the way you can seem them in you peripheral vision.

Anyone use 'em?

I might be wrong but I think it's illegal to use tear-offs on the road. I've got an AGV Ti-tech lid which has the round tear-off holders on the visor but I don't really notice them at all when riding.

They are legal for the road. I use an ogk with the tear offs and find them ok, suppose it depends on the lid. Its the insert strips which are becoming dodgy...

Hmm...I'm using a black visor with tear-off posts :-k Idon't think legality is an issue here, I'm already technically in serious do do :lol:
