Ride sat/sun south london 15/16 jan

Hi chaps - may be going out on one of these days for a ride from south london (tooting) out to the stix... Towards south coast? Anyone wanna meet up and go for a spin? Weather dependent...

Would have done but i'm off skiing tomorrow. I'm up for it next time you go though, tooting is an ideal meeting place for me as well!

Hmm - skiing/rideout. If only you could combine the 2, now that would be fun!! Studded tires on the SV? Perfect for the urban jungle?
Anyway, back to reality, I was thinking about 11 ish on saturday, to blow out the hangover and mosey on down to the coast and somewhere easy for everyone to find (eg south circular?) - depends who says they're up for it. My biking friend still hasn't got his bike back after the winter, and i much prefer going out with company - more loud cans to annoy the locals in the towns we go through.

Lynw- You'll be glad to know the renegade is now de-baffled and mighty fine it is too!

as for meet up... is oakdene at wrotham on the a20 ok? It will give me a chance for a decent brekkie before a ride out :D

and I knew it was a Steve that had the can with the baffle in just got confused the other week with a different steve :oops: :roll:

but otherwise its effectively on the a20... to get there:

from m25 going east take the m20/26 turn off.... the garage up the road is effectively the m26 services so when youre on the m26 and you see the services sign take the turning... at the roundabout turn left and its literally on the rhs....

from riverhead its the a25 all the way to wrotham, turn left where it meets the a20 and straight at the roundabout and again its on the rhs..

just a warning... the car park is a bit gravelly and pot holey... but it does a good bacon sarnie and usually loads of bikes there :D
