Guys
Bike was sold yesterday and im totally gutted - i got an OK price for her and i need somthing else badly - planning to do alot of miles this summer if the weather is good.
My options are
SV650s (K5)
SV1000s (K4/5)
Tuono (K4/K5)
All are affordable but what are your opinions?

Tuono is barking mad, go for it. I took a test on a Falco which is it's milder relation and that was crazy. I got a tankslapper after getting it sideways on a roundabout.
Just sold an SV eh... Tuono it is then mate.
T'is better to have loved and lost, than to have never loved at all.
Or...
Been there, done that!
Or...
Variety is the spice of life.
Or...
A change is a good as a rest.
If you are even considering an alternative to another SV, go for it. I don't mean that in a bad way... but if you have a chance at something new, take it as you can always go back.

Tuono, you know it makes sense... Or Falco or RSV for that matter. specially now that the company's future seems more secure.
Actually, I'd scratch the Tuono, to my eyes it's a dog's breakfast. But the Falco's lovely.

Nawwww mate - go with your head !
Go for the SV 1000, never tried one myself but I think they are the mutts nuts, Cupar Motorcycles were doing a deal on them recently, I think they even came fully faired as well.
Go for it mate, the SV1000 of course.
Let us know what you eventually decide.

C'moan be a real man get a good condition TL second hand (cheap) and 2nd hand DRZ400... you get the best of both worlds!!!
To be honest I think the Tuono is Ugly, don't like seening all the plastics the way you do on it!!! Its still a good bike mind you!!!
If money is not a problem go for the Tuono, otherwise get the SVS650's big bad brother.

ya cani beat an SV for overall'ness for a rider on a budget!
good performance for money, and when placed in the hands of an above rider VER an average rider on an R6.cbr600's etc....the SV will have them!
so in that respect the SV makes sense for me (especialy as i am 23 with a car as well....u get soo much bike for under the price of a normal 600!...
do not get me wrong, not saying SV650s for ever, but i will keeping mine for a while until bike paid off, and car, and credit cards etc..better things i want to spend money on than paying X hundreds a month for a bike u can only user 1/3 of year...
everyone will say yes please to a bigger more expesive bike...but with that comes more ££ for bits and bobs/insurance/petrol......
i am sounding borring and showing my age...23.....THOUSAND years old...(cough)..its the big 24000 on the 3rd of march!.........
i age quicker on earth..(incase those r thinking that!..lol....for every year on earth...i age 1 thousand years!
£ - SV
