Does K1/2 exhausts fit K3/4 bikes in anyway ?

Just bought a K4s and was wondering wether the exhausts were compatable at all as I might be able to get my hands on and earlier model exhaust off a friend :?:

A full exhaust is definitely not going to fit. They lowered the subframe in the '04 so even the '03 exhaust systems wont fit.

It might fit, but I'm not sure. I think some folks over on svrider have had success with just the end can. But, again, it's a little risky, so I'd suggest getting one that's made specifically for your bike.

The can itself is fine but you will need a new connector pipe - we can sort one out for you for £40
