i would imagine the best way would be to strip off all the useable bits and try selling them.
Then whatever is left you just have to take to the local waste dump if its no use to anyone.

What bike and whats left of it then?

Tip it in a ditch, set fire to it then report it stolen!

Send off your registration certificate after filling in section 5/R and the date.

grind off the vin plate from the frame, then get rid of it anyway you like.

by doing the above you are covered in case anyone uses the bikes ID on a write off bike getting it back on the road, and also any traffic violations that they may get.

Cheers Mark.

You can take the boy out of Portsmouth, but you can't take Portsmouth out the boy!

How badly damaged was the bike? If the engine and gearbox are still in good condition then the bike is of value to a breakers, contact a local breakers and see if they will buy the salvage from you. My bike was heavy frontal damage so anything rear of the headlight was OK, so I managed to negotiate a decent price for the salvage.

Once again Mariner helps me out! Cheers bud!

I've contacted a breaker, they've visited the bike.. a right mess, even the chassis was bent etc, and he gave me £300 for the engine basically 8)

Glad I did it, can get a new hugger and undertray for that!

Thanks m8, nice one again 8) 8)
