after doing a couple of hundred mile that day at work got home, had tea, jumped back on the bike, went all the way across London, went into my brothers garage, looked at Triumph, left garage 40 minutes later, travelled home.
good evening that.
Sad I know but it keeps me happy.
Cheers Mark.

I got back late last night from Liverpool, then was out again first thing this morning to have a look and clean out the brake switch.
Just can't get enough of it.

I do that too!!
Used to go out several times a night when friends who smoke were over.
I used to let people smoke in the garage so would join them and ogle my baby for a few minutes!!
Now a lot of my friends have quit smoking and also my bike isn't quite as pretty or enticing any more!! Now it just causes an "Oh F&*k" response and a strange feeling inside!! :?
I have been back to the dealer's a few times to see my new baby though!!

No Not really. Id rather go up the pub and stare at the attractive females ahich is what id recomend you do. If you dont, get some wire wool and get the rust off the thing ;)

Iain
i do the same
too often
It's a cuppa for me.
I only wish I had the room in the garage for an old sofa... then I'd spend a lot more time there. As it is there's not enough room to swing a mouse, let alone a cat.
And I've got to fit the ZX6R in at the weekend too!

all the time. I love my bike. I sometimes go to the garage to get a beer or something and then just spend ages looking over her, polishing the mirrors or just running my hands over the body work / checking bits and pieces etc. I even thanked her tonight for getting me safely to Warwick and back tonight - 160Mile round trip - my first ever longish haul trip. Shes a real babe!
I can't help but do it.
I just look at it and think "I can't believe that this thing is still on the road"

I KNEW my wife was wrong when she said I must be the only sad git who goes out just to look at my baby :)
The guys at work have a good laugh as I now have a mirror angled just so I can look at her (the bike ) from my desk........for security purposes only you understand.................. hurrrumph

yes,
cant help it??
I have been known to sit out front of my house, and have a pint while "bike watching". My wife (now ex wife) used to say something was wrong with me, and that I loved my bike more than I loved her. How true that was she'll never know.

Oh yes! I've even got a pic of it as my avatar and I can see it from the lab window. I'm very sad indeed, but it is new and the novelty hasn't worn off yet!

I try and not look too often, as I then start thinking what else can I buy it. It's already cost several disagreements with Mrs B and I think its best to avoid temptation. Funny thing is when I'm riding it it feels great, but when I look at it I want new bits - Brembo brake cylinder, 6 pot calipers, full Akrapovic system, lightened swingarm - I must remember, reality vs fantasy!

OK point taken :D
It's parked outside my window at the back of the house so I can't help but stare at it as I walk through the house...
At work I take a look as often as pssible - again for security...
My wife thinks I'm insane (she's right).

Don't have a lot of options really Joe (Itching to go)'s parked his TL 1000S in the front room
Definatly still stare at the bikes from time to time
Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear. Guilty as charged m'lud.
Has anyone got a garage like the ones in this months Bike Magazine?
b4 my accident yeah, since I don't see the point cos i'll just look at what still needs fixing/replacing, once I get it how I want it i'm sure I will again tho.
But like Viney i'd rather look at women
Perfectly understandable. Unfortunately I've had to stop looking at my bike for now for a number of reasons. Its really irritating me that I have my lovely bike but no licence, also, my brother is getting irritated at me. The SV is stored in his garage at the moment and he just doesn't understand and is getting irrate at me for banging on his front door just so I can go and stare at my bike for a bit.
(I still spend a lot of time staring at my car, I've managed to reduce the number of visits to the garage at work now though it has been hard)

But only after I've given it a good clean, you know the one, with the tooth brush and cotton buds...
Im just staring at the empty space where I should have at least one bike there

I don't often just look at mine, I end up cleaning bits or planning what to change next or fiddling about with various bits... But I suppose it's all the same thing isn't it- basically being cargo cultists :)

I don't stare at it because I hate the fact it has no lowers on it. I can picture myself perched up nice and high with all that engine showing below me and I'm ashamed.

I also hate the fact I don't have a spare £400 for K3 lowers...

Yeah, I used to do it all the time, esp once I knew it was going. In fact, sometimes there'd be a group of us sitting on the steps of my house, nursing cups of tea and admiring whichever rides were parked out front.
Even now, when Will brings Bulleseye to Soho, I'm irresistibly drawn to him. It's not just looking though, I have to run my hand over it as well (the bike, before you lot say anything!).
aye... my bike stays in me house and gets central heating treatment... and often i get a can of beer and just set on it for long period of time... i need help...
Always nice to pop in the garage to have a quick look.
Do you want to go and stare at your bike
Yes..
And get annoyed at the sezied brakes...

I've just done exactly that
I had to go out there to get something from the garage & spent 15 minutes having a good look
I did when I put the GT in.. and thought... I really should sort those brakes.. but hey the 636 shock arrives tomorrow..
No. You want to forget that you own an ER-5, not be constantly reminded
But that's all going to change tomorrow :D :D :D - I'm so excited 8) cos I collect my new ride, will bring digi with to take pics before it gets Shrewsbury & Atcham Borough Council's finest road salt on it
