Anybody here up for a brew at the Rivvy Sunday? Just got a new bateery in the beastie and want a bit of a run?
:D
was considering a small run out tomorrow. Will see what the weather's like. Just charged the battery.
If I go it'll probably be about lunch time. 1999 yellow svs with OFuk just below the screen :D
Sorry would love 2 but wife and kids and in-laws tell me to go to York for a nice day out...
I Would rather be out on the bike wearing my tires out !!
have a good ride out :D and no, I'm not one bit jelouse
weather looks ok, a bit wet on the ground, so I'll do my jobs, put the battery back in, pump up the front tyre and try and get there about 1ish as long as it doesn't rain again.

Better bring yer Ski-Doo, then
Glad I'm not on the bike today. Weather forecast looks better for tomorrow though.
Have to take my son to Birch services for 8am where my mate is picking him up and taking him to 3 Sisters to watch supermoto racing :D . I was going to go myself but someone's coming up from Tamworth buy a plan chest I had on ebay at lunchtime and I'd rather be making money than spending it right now  Having said that, here's what I've just bought, should arrive Tuesday. Seemed like a bargain...fibreglass, gold ACU approved, £35!! :D

Weather looks ok this morning and the people coming up from Tamworth have just set off so they should be gone by 12 so I'll have a ride over to Rivvy. Should now be there for about 12.30.
Anybody else?
I will be up there from 11:30 on. Copper SV1000s with full lower fairing. Please say hello as I don't know that many off here. Cheers.
WTF  !! It's snowing like crazy in Accrington and I'm on the bike
Might not make it to Rivvy now.

Lovely morning. Had breaky, washed up and off to Rivvy.
Got a brew when I got there, walked outside to see if any SVs had turned up and what the feck whats all this white stuff. Decided it might come down heavier so limped home slowly. (But not as slow as the reliant Robin I was folloiwing through the village and no way was I taking the scenic route over to Belmont.

Oh well, better luck next time. I'd thawed out and took advantage of the better weather to scoot off home. Sorry mate.

Was more than likely my blue 650 with a tank bag on it that you parked next to then if you there about that time as I noticed that a Copper 1000 had parked next to me when I was going, was chatting outside for a bit with a guy with a Fazer 1000 but never saw who was riding the SV, so if it was you, sorry I missed you!
Me and the bike got absolutely caked in snow as it tipped it down when I was on my way up there (wish I'd have had a camera!), went off to Southport after a brew and it was glorious there! Went on a bit of a bike-a-thon today and mine's about 400 miles over due for a service again now. Oops!
Yes mate, that was mine parked next to you. Soon as I got there I legged it inside as it was snowing hard.

Ah well, nice of the bikes to meet at least! :)
Nice bike by the way, which is a lot more than could be said for the weather today!
Anybody going tomorrow?
If the weather's anything like today I'll try and get there around lunch time...still got to fit the Knight Rider lights to the Camaro

Nice to see you again Of.uk and Rocket :D I saw Burner ride round the car park and ride off again too. Dunno whose the other SVs were that were there, wonder if they were off here?
Caught up with Burner on the way home. I was talking to the woman on the yellow K1 and she didn't know about this site. She does now :D and said she'd have a look in. I also gave a card to another couple, she'd just passed her test and was thinking of buying an sv :D
Never saw Amanda arrive or leave on her bike, only saw it parked up so I really think she trailered it there
Only joking seeing you seem to have your sense of humour back. Nice looking machine 8)

It's running great now, seems to be getting better all the time :D happy bunny. I might go and clean it now, those trailer straps leave hellish marks all over the bodywork

I was there yesterday - saw a couple of SVs.
I sat with the Mrs on her VanVan in a pub car park for a picnic. :D Did about 200 miles yesterday, plus cleaned both bikes! Great day.
Today, not so nice.
I rode around the car/bike park and then shot off across the moors.
Only saw one SV, yellow, and thought OF.uk had his handle written on his number plate
Just so used to being the only SV in the village.......
I've only done 200 miles this whole weekend, would have done more Saturday but forgot ear plugs. Good to blast those winter cobwebs away at last with decent temperatures across the top.
