 YAS
From: Inverkip
Dest: Tyndrum (via western ferries)
Miles: 150mile round trip...
finaly happened...sunday the 6th Feb was a craking day for it!
clear sky, snow on side of roads, toooooo many police with hair driers out!!
but was a great day....
70% of the roads were bone dry.....leaving the other 30% left with water logged/shiny roads....
Met a couple on the ferry going to dunoon on a PanEuro with all the kit on it.....
Done it in decent time.....about 2 hrs to get there.....harldy any traffic on the road what so ever!
Then got to tyndrum....met up with relavtive who were also on a bike run...had lunch..then headed off at 3:40.....the way home was a LOT quick and colder!!!
manged to make the 4:30 ferry at dunoon!
Also caught up with some people on matching R1's 18 miles out from dunoon....rather amsuing as I was ridding 2 up and out cornering the guys on their "super" bikes....the guys could not corner for love nor money!...i was closing my eyes in horror watching them speed up into corners then hitting the brakes hard.....all over the road and not ridding very safely!!..they could also not over take!!!..in the straights they were just dumping the throttle..and in the corners i was right up there chuffers!!..just left them to it in the end......about 2 mins later we saw them getting on the ferry.....they had a look at me and the bike and my bird on the back.....as if to say u r not worthy kinda crap.......i never even acknowledged them after that.....TANKERS!...had a look at their bikes.....
must be said never seen a more rusty chain and sproket in my life...PLUS THE LARGEST GOD DAM CHICKEN STRIPS EVER!!!!! about 3-4 inches!!..plus the tires still had the yellow chalk line on it casue they had not got the bikes over that far.....nearly 20k worth of bikes put in the hands of dangerous dafties!!!....anyways....i am away back to work!
the just of the story....mon the sv650s!!!
keep it real
