I can't help you on price, but I will say this...
out of all the mods you can go, full fairings are (imo) about the worst value for money mod you can do.
Get a can and upgrade the suspension first, I say.
having seen the rrp i'm inclined to agree !!
what can does everyone recommend?
Have a look on eBay, you never know....
hey balders old chap, fancy seeing you here...
lowers are nice but purely cosmetic, front fork springs and a fender extender along with a nice exhaust could be had for similar money

Just fitted my scorpion can last weekend. Unfortunately the baffle fell out so now i am stuck with a lovely deep rumbly sound and pops and bangs when you lift off. Worth every penny in my book, fit really nicely as well.
Cheers

Lowers used to be £399, they are now £375 - See here (http://www.suzuki-gb.co.uk/partdetail.asp?id=246&m=24)
It all depends whether you want to mod for looks, performance or sound (though the last two generally seem to go hand in hand).
If it's looks that are high on your list of reasons, then fairing lowers are a must in my book. Shop around and talk to dealers etc, you never know what they'd do for you unless you ask.
I got my lowers, OE seat cowl and undertray for £390 all in.
I only paid £250 for mine when I bought the bike in December, but that was with a few other extras as well.

I paid £350 for my lowers but thats was with the bike so they knocked off £50. Personnally if I was you I would get the lowers and the springing, rear shock and exhaust all in one go that way the wife can only moan once even if it is for long time. Sneaking items on the bike slowly didn't work for me.

If your looking for lowers... You aren't looking for the other bits..
:?
I figure start with the most painful, and the rest seems even better value! I bought lowers with the bike, and I love the look. Especially K5.. May be cosmetic, but I dont ride hard enough to need new springs etc..
You get what you want I guess.. Mine were Suzuki.. I haven't found anywhere cheaper than my local dealer that sold them to me for £350 fitted.. but I did purchase them at the same time as the bike.. for £4350 check the link (more boasting!) to make your own mind up. They make these bikes look completely different.. more solid... more grown up? :?:
you paid £4350 for a brand new K5 with lowers?

Yes, they were. LHS was perfect, but RHS had a slight scuff. Easily flatted out and once painted will look like new. Other than that scuff though, they were absolutely mint.
