took it out to see the difference it is beefier with it out never realised it was a long tube!! put it back in until i get a day out hopefully tomorrow.when put pressure on the pipe by loosening the allen nut holding the baffle the exhaust moved slighly at the main join where the pipe had been cut so i tightened it by hand now its nice and firm.i noticed a degree of blowing from the joint is this normal for a pipe thats been cut to fit a sports can?
I also feel puffs of air coming from same place...

jump get some silicone sealant from halfords and put a ring of it round the pipe and re fit once its set it will stop blowing.

The difference of std pipe to scorpion without baffle is great sounds like a proper bike its louder throught but comes alive when u open throttle at whatever revs im happy.u get used to the sound i park outside the security office for a shopping precinct because im friendly with the guy who runs the precinct(ninja owner) and he said when he's in the cctv room he can feel the vibrations when im coming up the road.
if u r coming to a stop from 70 go down the geard til the revs are about 7000rpm then just shut off the throttle sounds good, the odd little pop sounds nice.
