2003 SV650 Exhaust

Guys -

Here's the deal... I bought a slip-on exhaust last week, and now I find out that it requires cutting to install (duh). Well, that apparently voids my warranty so I began exploring options of y-piping and headers, but I am seeing that they are not very reasonably priced. Hindle headers and mid-piping runs like $300 & I would then probably need to get a power commander as well, which brings me to an additional $500 on top of the $350 for the can (Wolf Exhaust).

Is there anywhere I can get a mid-pipe for cheap or get away with spending less than $500 for the whole ordeal? Does anyone have a stock mid-pipe that they would like to get rid of? I do not want to cross those Suzuki Nazis and screw up that warranty for a slip on...

Any suggestions? Let me know... :( :( :(

You won't need a power commander, it's a gizmo that makes things easier, sure, but it's not necessary. A remap will achieve more or less the same object and cost probably $100.

You should be able to find some stock pipes on eBay, though.
