I have indeed been to several Friday meets! The first time I met dodgy characters from the forum was the Friday where a curry happened afterwards? And I was around last Friday too.

Really sorry to hear this, this time of year is a real b*stard. You could have come off worse injury wise but there's still enough personal damage for it to be both painful and upsetting. As for the bike, if there's anything we can do, let us know. Oh and welcome to the world of scuffs, dents and scratches ;). So chin up lad, keeping a positive attitude will help you mend all the quicker.

Baldyman, I won't meet you at Heston, it adds about 20 miles onto the journey. I'll be coming all the way up the M3 and eventually rejoining the A4, so could either meet you along there or just meet you in Soho.

Hey Claire

Right then alarms. I have had a Lazerline 860 on the SV from new. Its never ever caused me an ounce of trouble. Its a little on the bulky side, but its meant for a car. I has a low current draw so enable to be left on for long long periods without flattening the battery.

As for routes. Id make my way to East grinstead, then the A264 to Tunbridge wells, out the other side and follow signs for maidstone. The turn right and of to rochester you jolly well go.

:)...oh and a woman that hates shopping...must be something with the claires of this world. My ex hatted it as well....me, i luv shopping. hmmm shoes....

If its red i dunno why you just dont leave it.

If its that "nasty" kinda ginger... why not go red?

My g/f's got a few grey hairs (like i care... i'm sure i brought them on tho  ) and goes for a reddy kinda colour. Not the ones that are ferrari red (even tho i'm sure it would work on her) but just away from that "boring brown" idea.

that would be the Honda Fizzy then would it :?:

this one is the SS50 four stroke.
http://i21.ebayimg.com/02/i/03/6f/8f/fa_1_b.JPG

of the day the three mopeds to have were
Yamaha FS1E (two stroke)
http://www.fs1e.co.uk/e2%20Jasons.jpg
Suzuki AP50 (two stroke)
http://www.itee.uq.edu.au/~taylor/bikes/ap50.jpg
or if you were rich Fantic caballero (two stroke)
http://www.users.globalnet.co.uk/~pattle/nacc/arc0318d.jpg

the Honda was made to look very much like the Fizzy, but was a good bit slower in both acceleration and top speed, although it didn't blow up as much and was more reliable. the pipe was well cool though.

Well if the weather holds out for the best you should see a few Wings this Friday (25th) if you are having gathering then that is?

Lookin forward to meeting you all.
