It might be an idea for thread to be started by some one with a list of accomodation and phone numbers. I'm looking for a campsite myself.

Well, I'm not too sure about the camping bit  ...I have'nt done that in years! But a lovely warm B&B sounds nice! :)
Perhaps someone from that area could post a website or phone number to contact the locals for accom? :D

Not around that weekend, off on my Hols to sunny Turkey!
I know the Cotswolds quite well and if anyone is looking for a great bed and breakfast, may i suggest Whiteshoots Cottage, Whiteshoots Hill, Bourton-on-the-Water Glos GL54 2LE 01451 822698 mobile 07968 603608.
The accomodation is superb and the owners Tim and Verian are lovely people. I believe their son has a bike so they are okay with the 'breed'

Has everyone made up their minds yet where they are camping. I have had a look through but can't see where people are staying. Can someone give me a clue please :?

I think this is the one that people were looking to book.....

Bridge House Campsite
Bridge House
Lechlade

This is cheap, clean and cheerful, costs £4 per person per night and has showers. The owner is willing to cordon off an area for thirty odd to camp together and bikes can be parked next to the tents, the pubs, B+ Bs and town are only 5 mins walk. Lechlade is located on the Thames south of Burford on the fast A361, with the campsite 10 mins leisurely ride from the start point at Burford.

Is someone going to make a decision about this then?

I vote for Bridge House Campsite, cuz its not gonna cost £18 a night.

Whos gonna second the motion?

Sounds good to me, otherwise we will all end up everywhere.[/quote]
